Coaching Cricket
Last week I took it upon myself to teach some teachers and students from my school about Cricket. Only after we'd arrived on the sports field did I realise that I know very little about it, and what I do know I can't explain. An hour before the start I was in the woodwork room manically trying to make cricket bats by passing planks of wood through a jigsaw! Mine was a quick-fire innings which ended when I was shamefully run out on what was a third-length wicket. I proved more lethal with the ball in hand though, bowling out three of my tormentors for ducks. They were 13 year old girls though.
