Laurence in Japan: Ryan's Birthday in Kobe

We're at that stage now with Kobe where we know where to go for a night out and we can stumble aroud the city in the early hours without getting too lost. Someday I'd like to be able to say the same about Osaka, but that really is a beast of a city, and getting the first train home from Osaka would be even more painful. We're also familiar with Kobe's various karaoke centres, and more often than not we end up in a karaoke booth after a night out. This was the case on Ryan's 26th birthday, but not before we'd done our best to empty the beer pumps of some local bars.
